Shortly after a breakup due to lack of understanding among band members, Bernie Bandicoot came back stronger than ever with new line-up and new, more rough and experimental sound, and this record is clearly the new beginning for Bernie Bandicoot. Gothic rock influences are gone now: "About Cats" is a jammy psychedelic album for those who love tripping out on good music. You can truly get it's vibe only if you consider it as a whole piece of music and not just 11 separate tracks. And, of course, this record should be listened loud!
